Hello, I’m Hanny

I’m an English tutor. I give the courses for kids to teenagers. I am 54 years old, but today I feel younger, healthier, and more resourceful. Lol. Time changes so fast, I was not really making a difference in the world, so I thought I am here to make the difference and if I CAN I

believe you CAN, too.

It was back to five years and eight months ago, when I lost my husband. We had been married for 21 years and we did not have any children. At that time I was so down, upset, and frustrating. When I was upset, I ate more. It really made me even worse, I used to be over weight so I was really in a bad shaped.

I was emotionally unstable, up and down then I felt sick. I knew I had to do something but I could not. My brain and my heart knew I had to change but it failed. I had had the help from the pastor and psychiatrist, too. Till one day, I realized that l had to change. I myself should have made the changes.

I believe that “mens sana in corpore sano” (Latin) means “A sound mind in a sound body”. I have to be healthy both in body and mind. I should love myself. I signed up at the fitness center 4 years ago. i started my boxing class since 2021. I eat right, think positively, spread out the positive vibes, and minimize the stress.ย  I believed that a snail is the slowest animal but it never be the same spots all the time. Life is a chance with a lot of choices. So, we should change or the change will change us.

You are not alone – Let’s share ๐Ÿ™‚

I am now in my journey of a better me. Nobody is perfect. I am here to help you find better you. How to maintain our health in the fifties. Should we sit and be a couch potato? Get up and get ready to get the better shape of us. I know i can not change the world, but i offer my help to make the changes in us. I am going to share how i loose weight, what i eat, and how to manage our stress.

  2. The addict – health is wealth -is an old addict which is always true. We need to be healthy in both body and soul to be successful. From your story, I feel you may be able to help me. I lost my father whom is also my best friend last year. And since then things have not been the same. My emotions have not been the same, and I always miss his presence and advice. what are those things I can get involved in to help me overcome these feelings?

    1. Hi …

I am deeply sorry for your lost. I know how your feeling. I can understand it is still very new… it was last year. ๐Ÿ™

As a matter of fact losing someone you really care about is a painful thing. However, it will be even more painful if we can’t let that person go. Let him who leaves us in peace.

You have a special bondage to your dad, he was your best friend. According to me, a best friend doesn’t want to see his best friend sad or become down.

Start to open up your heart. Try to make peace with yourself and accept the reality.

People or even the medicine is only the temporary helps. Now it’s only you, yourself who can face this life.

But on the other hand, as humans we cannot continue to be alone. So socialize yourself.

Surround yourself with the people who make you comfortable. We don’t need dramas, do you? Minimize it.

By the way thank so much for your trust that I may be able to help you.

So, don’t hesitate to ask me your questions.

Be strong, you are NOT alone.

      God bless

      Best of luck

  4. Hanny,

We all have a journey to make through life. It is a journey full of promise, danger, surprise, and excitement. We can experience all of these at once or in stages. There are times when we let outside influences take control of how we feel about ourselves. It is up to us to find ways of dealing with the unexpected so we can come out stronger. At times, this may be a struggle but we can find a solution that will help us become better people. It seems you have made that first step. Keep working and trying to improve daily, you will make it.

    1. Hi Jerry… Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it. Yes, it’s right that life is a journey. One thing that I always keep in mind that I should be tough and never give up. It’s not easy, but I believe…where there’s a will there’s a way.

      regards,

      Hanny

  5. I appreciate you sharing the wisdom and experience you’ve gained throughout the years.

Without a doubt, that was a difficult time for you. I’m pleased you dealt with it. I’m over fifty now, and I’m having trouble losing the weight I’ve accumulated over the years. The mind and body are two distinct entities, thus I’m searching for some helpful advice on how to stay healthy and active. We are aware that having a good relationship with them both helps us handle stress, have more energy, and have a stronger immune system.

We can all reap the benefits and alter our way of life by engaging in exercise, maintaining our creativity, forming relationships with others, adhering to a nutritious diet, placing our attention on the good things in life, and practicing meditation. Do not give up.

    1. Exactly. We need to keep going. Even if we feel more comfortable with it. We have to keep in mind. Our journey hasn’t yet been finished. Thank you… I do appreciate your comment.
